The Vaguely Rude Places Map is a simple-ish web mash up of places which, to the British sense or humour, sound vaguely rude and thus are, by definition, funny. If you're not British, it might be confusing why this is amusing.

Since launching in February of 2013, the Vaguely Rude Places map has been Slashdotted, Farked, B3ta'd and Reddit'd multiple times, clocking up over 22M views in a single month. It's also been featured many times in the more traditional media. Here's a brief selection.
